The mars attacks novels? They had reprints of the original Mars Attacks trading cards they had in the 60's (May be from a different era but I thought it was 60's) and the cards were banned.  I have the book where some humans get stranded in a Mansion and the aliens attack alot of the people. Really gory too.,

[Future Boy 3000]

I got the same one. It's called Martian Deathtrap. 3 way battle between aliens, giant bugs, and the humans. It's a fun read.
