What, is that Great Cthulhu there?   Or a byakhee?   Can't quite tell.

(The picture of Alice is from American McGee's Alice -- wiki it.)

I can't think of anything that defeats Great Cthulhu.   A grenade would probably blow up something lesser, though.  So which is it?

One thing about all these sightings of unusual creatures (mothman, sasquatch etc.) that has always amazed me is the ease with which they are dismissed by people who weren't there and who have no idea what was seen but who are more than willing to tell the actual witness what it was.

My apologies I went to reply to Dennis post and must have hit the "modify" button in stead. Tried to fix last post. Sorry if it didn't come out right.

What I meant to do is post the below thoughts regarding strange creatures.

I also read a couple John Keel books that I bought at a used bookstore years ago. That's where I first heard of Mothman and I liked the movie also even though some didn't like it.

Living in New Jersey the Jersey Devil has always seemed the less likely of monster legends. Not one of my favorite stories. If nothing else the least interesting and in accurate monster name.

The best movie about such creatures was THE LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK (1972) and I'm not even sure that was based on true legends of the area of Arkansas. Great movie even though.

Favorate TV show episode(s) was SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN meets Bigfoot played by Andre The Giant.

Another film that I liked was THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT (1977).

The only way to beat Bigfoot in a badmovies picture war is with Littlefoot!
