Never had a problem eating meat, although I've always felt it should go both ways. Animals should be allowed to wear human skin. Also, if a guard dog kills an intruder that tresspasses on his property, its only fair that he should be allowed to keep the remains.

The toothpaste I was working with today was made with aloe vera, Iceland moss, and "oil of olive leaf."  This is a European-only brand.  No fluoride in it, which allowed me to launch into the "have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water?" monologue from DR. STRANGELOVE.  My coworkers didn't get it.

its 6:31 in the morning and I probably got a ear infection. Why am I still awake?

Ahh, sorry to hear about that man, I had one of those a month or two back.  If you go to the doc, make sure he checks inside the ear to see if it's a inner ear or a surface infection.  First time I went, I saw my doc's MA and he just gave me antibiotics, but since I had surface infection, they didn't do s**t.  Next two days my ear was all swollen and crap.  Then I saw my doctor (didn't have an appointment, just went in REAL early and told how much pain I was in), and he said, basically, "Oh, wait, you need ear drops for this one... that or you could try vinegar."  (Vinegar helped, but after the first couple of time it started to burn a bit too much, so the doc prescribed some pills.  Luckily though, my ear had gotten well at this point I didn't need them.)

Anyway, best of luck, hope it passes soon!

I'd overheard a coworker say he'd witnessed the sabotage take place, but didn't want to report it because the proffered reward was "too small" at "only" $500.  He felt that, if they really wanted to know who did it, they'd offer at least $2,000.

So, when it came time for me to be interviewed, I told them this coworker's name and what I'd overheard him say.  Another coworker had also overheard this guy's story, and corroborated my information.

They interviewed this guy three times, with each of the three PIs taking a turn on him.

Today might prove interesting at work.

Man, that guy sounds like a freaking DOUCHE!  I mean, granted, you may not like the job you work at, but freaking INK in toothpaste could probably do some damage to people and you'd think you'd report it just out of conscience alone.

(Plus, to me, $500 WOULD be a decent amount of money, especially if it was tax free...)

Please keep up update on this, I want to hear what happened next!

:)

Ah, another night where I've been invited out, but got in a bad mood and failed to show my face. I love being me - one minute I hate being alone, the next I hate being around other people and nothing ever makes me happy. They'll all be saying to me "Oh you should've come out, where were you?" and I'll be like "I just didn't want to go out". But they make me feel like I've committed a crime. I don't want to feel forced into things I'm not comfortable with and I don't want to feel guilty about NOT doing that afterward.  Hatred

In making their hamburgers over these 60 years, I bet McDonald's is responsible for the deaths of literally hundreds of cows.

We got one of those damned water purifier things.  My wife says the water from it tastes recycled.  "Recycled?"  I said, "You mean, as opposed to the brand new stuff they manufacture at those big water factories?"  I got the scrunched-up nose smirk.
