Threw the oven on clean mode and after smoking out the house for 20 minutes I kind of gave up.   The family is going to have to take a day out when I attempt it next time.

With my dryer vent, I ended up drilling a couple holes through the overlapping section of pipe and putting a couple tiny screws in there, then I wrapped the whole thing in duct tape.  Of course the damn thing is too close to the wall to fit the roll of duct tape behind it, so I had to tear off individual pieces, which fold over on themselves when I try to wrap them around behind the thing.  Duct tape sticks to itself with amazing strength  Smile

Duct tape never seems to work on ducts of any sort does it.

Took vacation today.  So far - not even noon yet - I've taken the cans in for recycling, went to the bank, the liquor store, the grocery store, came home and got sent right back to the grocery store for more stuff.

There's a woman on TV named Teschwanda who's been having sex with her husband 3-4 times a day, but now she wants to do it 3-4 time a week.  She's asking the show's host, Wendy (she's kind of, um...dopey and personally I wouldn't look to her for advice) what she should do.

Hmmm...I'm going to ask the wife if she'd like me to run out and get anything else.

I fixed my laptop.  I reinstalled Windows using some pretty sketchy instructions (and BartPE) then installed Ubuntu 9.04 as a dual boot.  Works great! TeddyR
