I have a strange obsession with the word "Nostrils."  Why do I find that word so amusing???

Mmmmmm, monkey nostrils!!!!

That's not quite fair, Indy.  You paired "nostrils" with "monkey," a word that's funny just by itself.  Let's try matching "nostrils" with some words that are not quite so funny by themselves and see what happens....

"Nostril Tragedy"
"Nostril, Prince of Denmark"
"Nostril Holocaust"
"Cannibal Nostrils"
"The Incredibly Strange Nostrils"

This experiment confirms your hypothesis: "nostrils" are inherently amusing, because they can turn unfunny words into funny phrases.

Just read somewhere that Australia is drifting north at a rate of about 2 1/2 inches a year.  Interesting... wonder how long it would take it to collide into Asia?  (Or would that be Europe?  Don't have a map handy...)

It would hit Indonesia.

I remember back in when I was a little DarkSider my mother getting the Sears and JC Penny catalogs and looking over them with great desire of most of the items in the toy section.  I was reminded of this today when my 3 year old picked up the Target holiday ad and said he wanted "everything".

Then when you hit about 12 or so, you found yourself looking at the Toy and Lingerie section with similar wants...

The toys we now know as "yo-yos" were originally weapons, I think bolas were one version of them.  That just blows my mind.  Although if you've ever been around someone attempting to do "tricks" with a yo-yo, you can see how that makes sense...

We have a prayer room at work, that they put a note on not to disturb. This room is also the post room. So, today before I left (5:05pm) I had to urgently post something for a customer (he was deaf and homeless), but someone was in there. I thought "screw it", customer's situation  is more important than kneeling on a mat for a ghost, and barged in. Allah can kiss my ass...

I've just read that they canned the Rocky Horror remake.

 Cheers

It's just not the kind of movie you remake.

Apologizing to Christians in advance.  I'm not posting this to be offensive, but I find it interesting.
