I have been trying to figure this out for a long time. I was very young when I watched this so it could be a little mixed up.

A man is jogging in daylight down a path or road near the woods and a creature is watching him.
I think that the guy may have been a little chunky and stops to eat a twinkie .
the creature reminded me of the creatures from Labyrinth who pop their body parts off and connect them to other parts.
I watched this in the 80's and believe it may have been some kind of television show but I am not sure..
