We were watching
Golden Temple Amazons (1986) last night and what could of been a silly fun movie of topless girls (who cannot act) and the adventure is in somebody backyard (although it supose to be in some sort of jungle but you can see cars speeding in the background, near a highway???) and the "Golden Temple" is a converted aircraft hanger, and the gold mine is just a cave with spray-painted tin foil taped on its walls. You would think this is going to be fun.
The movie was really boring (nothing happening even the topless girls were getting less impressive) and at times I was feeling sad... I'm not sure if its the sound track or the lack of fun or a witch doctor that looked like James Earl Jones (who was very boring) and his only line was "Stupid Girl" or "Stupid White Girl" [I do think it was funny that my wife pointed out James Earl Jones first because I was also thinking how similar.]
The female lead (I cannot call her a Heroine, the girl kept crying/screaming for help so much that you'd think Tarzan is on his way.) She had a brain like a squirrel (my wife pointed it out ~ because she kept looking like "What?") although it seems that she was wearing squirrel tails over her boobs, so I guess the director attempted to put her in a suitable costume.
Anyway my brain was sad and I was wonder if you guys has seen any movies that seem to be fun but ended up feeling sad... :)
