Badmovies.org is a vast thing and thankfully there are no philistines around here to try and determine what is and isn't a bad movie.  If there were though, this is the kind of thing they would be championing.  It's ....how do I put this...a bit of an "outsider" comedy.  It's like imagine if you were going to a community college and you had like a sociology class and you had to do some kind of skit with a bunch of people who didn't have any idea what Gawker is or who Sarah Silverman is but you did it and it was kind of funny and awesome.  That's kind of what Democrazy is like.  It's so unusual you can't help but be at least fascinated by it if not neccasirly being brought to actual physical laughter. I think I can guarentee chuckles though.

The story is kind of Idiocracy ish:  the White House has been bought by a private company who have fired virtually everyone in the country or something.  These people eventually end up in the homeless district where they are eventually turned into food a la that essay by that guy.

Let me digress a sec and say I occcasionally rent micro budget movies and they are some of the only ones I send back without having finished (the other being Bollywood movies). It's hard to believe but there really is someting to be said for Hollywood and the big corporations that produce movies because some of these things are awful.  One of them was a mockumentary about unfunny comedians that itself wasn't funny at all.

So right off the bat this looked like it was headed in that direction and fast but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did.  Not to throw another simile or whatever at you but you know the skits in MST3K?  Imagine if the whole show was just the skits and they were even dorkier.

the description at youtube says this movie is the companies "most hated movie".  Check it out.  it's slightly better (though not nearly as outrageous) than "Over-sexed Rugsuckers from Mars" and not as good as Bill Zebub movies like "the worst horror movie ever made".

4/5

This is, by far, the worst movie I have ever watched. I'm convinced that the positive comments are ONLY coming from people involved in the making of this piece of junk. The acting (I wince as I write) is so shudder- inducing that you may as well be watching a film about your parents' sex life. The characters are dim and two- dimensional, with no funny or interesting parts at all. The only thing worse than this movie is the short film attached in the DVD called "Squirrels". I had to swallow the vomit in my mouth. Squirrels are not pack creatures. I weep for the director and "actors".... *Bleech* there it is again. *gulp* Stay away at all cost. This movie will rot your brain and turn you sterile. You WILL be dumber for watching this. Run!
