According to Holiday Insights website, there is a holiday every day apparently!  Today was are celebrating Girl Scout Day and Plant a Flower Day!  So let us eat thin mints and plant some flowers (if the weather is good in your area) now!

Anyways, you should check out this site and see what is happening this month.  My birthday is National Goof Off Day and on March 20th, it is Extraterrestical Abduction Day!  So we should watch a few sci-fi films that day.

Here's the site: http://www.holidayinsights.com/

See any good days coming up that catch your attention?

Does this mean I don't ever have to go to work?

Or that I can party every night?

Or that I have to buy greeting cards for every day of the year?

Man, I'm for the first two, but if I have to go to the Hallmark Store every day, I may just wind up hanging myself.

I had an idea to release a "holiday a day" calendar to give everyone an excuse to goof off every day, but I guess I've been scooped.

Actually, the Roman Catholic Church pretty much thought this whole idea up first, making every day of the year some saint's feast day.

My b-day is Pins and Needles Day.   Question

Fitting, I guess.  I do suffer from anxiety now and then.

I was born on All Souls Day.

When: November 2 (November 3rd if the 2nd falls on a Sunday)

The Christian holiday of All Soul's Day pays respect and remembers the souls of all friends and loved ones who have died and gone to heaven. It is a time to pray for their souls that they may be received into heaven. Upon death, it is believed that souls have not yet been cleansed of sin. Praying for souls of loved ones helps to remove the stain of sin, and allow the souls to enter the pearly gates of heaven. All Souls Day was started in 998.

Often people will pray to their lost loved ones and even ask for special favors.

Did you know? All Souls Day is sometimes called the "Day of the Dead".
