For some weird reason-I cant post videos. It was working fine when I posted the Ghidrah thing...but now-no. I also noticed the 'share' bar is huge on You Tube. The codes are in big letters? WT heck? I dont think its this site-I think its you tube! Any one else have this problem?



Hmm...mebbe it is a problem here-I cant even get the bad movies 'you tube' bars to show up without a code....I think yer Youtube adapter thingy may be messed up,Andrew...

The first thing that jumps to mind is that you might be copying the long URL.  For the youtube video preview to work it needs to be the short version, which will look like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eTzYEUW_0g (the series of letters and numbers at the end identifies the clip)

Then highlight the whole thing with your mouse and click on the youtube button.

It should put a start youtube tag at the front:

[youtube]

And an end youtube tag at the back: 

Code:

[/youtube]

Resulting in:

Nope-wont work. I dunno.

 for one thing-this url dont look right-theres a dot between the 't'u' and be'. Another-On you tube the urls are small. About the size of this type. But these are a 1/8th inch high. Have I been hacked?

I paste it in the middle of the "you tube' app,as I always have....and-nothing!

Youtu.be is not a YouTube URL, though it seems to redirect to it.  What is the URL on www.youtube.com?

That took me to you tube. I posted a Ghidrah video yesterday. It worked fine. I went to the store. Came back-the same url-same video is in HUGE block letters-and it's this url-

When I post it in the app...blank. Not even the you tube app or url. shows up. Just nothing. I dunno.
The urls didnt look right-I noticed that right off. Mebbe I should contact you tube. I dunno.

Works for me if I use http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XeUlUA0ynU.

The way the YouTube plug-in works, it's going to have to be a www.youtube.com URL, which looks like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XeUlUA0ynU

Anything else and the plug-in will not create a preview.

Yeah-that worked. I dont know whats up with my youtube account...I may have been hacked. My Kaspersky went yellow alert just before I had this problem! Thank you Andrew and the good Revernd!!!
