Tone it down guys and ghouls,i don't mean "THAT" is getting bigger and bigger.
The first post i ever posted on this site was enquiring if anyone on here would like to come to my movie club.Sister grace kindly pointed out that most of you guys live in America and therefore it would not be possible to join my club.
The Macabre Movie club has now be going for over 5yrs and in that time i have shown some really crappy,i mean classic movies.I am about to start my club again next month and i have already had over 30 people asking to come. This year i shall be showing more Asian/foreign movies and i have quite a few independent movies to show.I have always been very pasionate about movies and it gives me great pleasure to introduce some of my younger members to some of the classic 70s/80s horror movies.Last year the movies that generated the most appreciation were Mermaid in a Manhole,Beast Within and Dead Snow, this year i am hoping to encourage more members to participate and hopefully one day i can get a Macabre Movie convention.I shall go off the topic now and ask you guys this:

What was the first post you posted on this site and who was the first person you spoke to?
nice to be back on the site...

I've bought Robot Monster, Bride of the Monster, Glen or Glenda, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Hobgoblins, Leonard Part 6, Manos: The Hands of Fate, and Santa Claus Conquers the Martains all within the past year.

My first was back on Nov. 15 of 2006.  I was all nervous and shy and had no idea what I was doing - but I was trying to act like I did ya know     Anyhow it was in response to a "Which Friday the 13th was the worst?" poll.  My response was:

"Part 9 is the only one I turned off before it was over.  I just completely lost interest and the plot didn't make any sense.  Jason vs. Freddy would probably be the 2nd worst, then maybe Jason on a boat."

Yeah my writing style sure has come a long way since then lol.

Damn! For a moment I thought one of my old threads had resurfaced. :buggedout:

The Burgomaster

Looks like my first post was on September 20, 2002.  Way back in the beginning, I used a different user name and I'm not sure if my current account is a continuation of the old one or if I actually closed the old account and opened a new one.  If the latter is true, my first post would have been earlier than September 20, 2002.  One thing is for sure: I was in here reading Andrew's reviews for awhile before I ever started shooting my mouth off in this forum.

Im suprised no one has said VAN HALEN 3. personally I think its  okay.

I also agree with a lot of what AndyC said.

My first post was in July 2007.  I'm not sure who the first responder was, but I remember that Susan gave me my first karma point!

I figured the same thing when I first saw it. Hell first I thought you'd written this.

I had to look mine up. I really couldn't remember it  much at all but I knew I wrote a post to introduce myself way back on January 2007. First one who responded to me was the always friendly Andrew who I'd already met before on a couple of other forums. Also Gerry from Scifilm welcomed me too. Of course I was a longtime regular on the old Scifilm board before moving over here.
