Some actors are like ham.

Some are like bacon. They generally make anything you put them  in better.

I saw that the Dr.  Phibes movies were on comettv and recommend them to a friend and it just occurred to me to say they had Vincent price in them and that alone made them worth watching because Vincent price is like bacon, he makes most things he's  put in better.

So I consider Vincent prince a bacon actor, what actors would you describe as a bacon actor?

The doctor that circumcised Trump threw away the wrong piece.

I would agree with Vinnie- That's it's highest recomdendation. HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL is junk without Price.
Bela Lugosi.
Why on Gawd's green earth would anyone watch garbage  like the APEMAN or the the INVISIBLE GHOST if not for Lugosi? Consider BRIDE OF THE MONSTER with one of Ed Wood's usual gang of idiots and no Bela.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

But seriously, I agree with Price and Lugosi. I'd add Karloff. Jack Nicholson almost makes it, but he's been in some unsalvageable stinkers.

John Wayne, perhaps? I suppose that depends on how you view his politics... (I try to ignore actor's politics.)

Laurel & Hardy; MGM even borrowed them to improve The Rogue Song: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rogue_Song

Rodney!

When this guy showed up, hilarity would ensue.
"You were the inspiration for twin beds!"
"This is the worst lookin' hat I ever saw!  Bet you get a free bowl of soup with it. (sees man wearing one)  Oh, but it looks good on you though." (rolls eyes)
(asks little girl at a photo studio) "Hey cutie!  How old are you?" 'This much!' (holds up 5 fingers)  "Well, call me when you're this much!" (holds up 10 fingers twice)

Pam Grier! And when she co-stars with Sid Haig- that's icing on the cake!

The late Dick Miller was always a welcome presence when he turned up in a movie, even if it was only a short cameo.

To some of those mentioned, I'd add Willem Dafoe and, probably, Gary Oldman.
