I've been visiting the site for quite a while , but never posted anything until now.

I 'd like to know if anyone remembers back in the early 80's when USA was fledgling cable network and they used to show some really old shows at night  on the weekends.  Things like Space Patrol and Bud Corbett  - Space Cadet..

They also showed a movie a couple of times called J-Men  Forever. It was  cut together from old movie serials  ( Captain America,  Flash Gordon,  Rocketman,  Captain  Marvel,)with new dialog dubbed in.

The story was about a government  agency called MUZAK which kept  the world sane by insuring the music stayed bland.  The  agents were called J-Men. Ming the merciless (he was called something else) was meanwhile bombarding the earth with radio signals  containing that evil Rock and Roll. People driving along in their cars listening  to elevator music on the radio would suddenly go insane when the  Rock and Roll would  come blairing over  airwaves.  They would then run the car off a cliff or into a building .

I remember that  Captain America was called  Lone  Star,  Rocketman  was Bullet Head, and Captain Marvel  was the Caped Madman.   It  was  much like Woody Allen's   "What's Up Tiger Lily" and it was hilarious.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Never seen it, but it sounds like alot of fun. I wouldn't even mind seeing the original versions of those old serials.

Vermin Boy

A classic, written by members of the Firesign Theatre. It was just recently released on DVD, after an eternity of being rarer than rare. Check it out!

Thanks for the info. I  went straight to Amazon and ordered my copy.  I saw this once many years ago and just  remembered laughing my  head off.

Thanks again.
