                     I've never seen "Phantasm", but this is the guy that made that.  It's a very cool movie,  for kids but enjoyable for all ages.  It is like "dazed and confused"   but with 10 year olds and without the pot smoking and so forth.  sort of dazed and confused meets Leave it to beaver.  The kids are hilarious and you root for them as they try to overcome the odds:  bullies,  school,  girls, etc  There is a little smearing and some things not entriely appropriate for younger kids, but in general it's very benign.  Alot of it is cliche and corny but it's miles better than most of the sanitized junk out there these days.  definately recommended

here's a rather brutal wedgie at the hands of the afformetioned bully
