I always find Cohen brother's films well-made, but vaguely unsatisfying.

Good, but I remember it being slow in some places. I get this feeling that reading the book would lead to a better experience.

One of the most boring and nonsensical movies I've ever seen. The Coen Brothers are so enamoured with their legend that they forgot to create a fun movie in the first place.

I wouldn't go so far. It compares favourably to The Giant Gila Monster or Wild Women of Wongo, for instance.

I saw this back in the day, because everybody was crazy about it. I didn't hate it, but I thought it was pretty meh overall.
