Great we have rappers trying to act when most are like wrestlers only to personify a certian cliche, hopefully not. Anyways so they're going to make a remake of a remake. I have a thereory for this they want to create the old experience for a new generation ro they want more cash.

lol, wasn't the original bad enough! yeah, and speaking of actors attempting to act "Never Die Alone" has to be one of the sorriest attempts to a moral play i've ever seen (or atleast an attempt to have morals).

I don't think it's going to work. I don't think I will cause any controversy if I say that the main interest of John Carpenter's films is rarely the script or even the plot, but in the rather unique fashion he had for putting them into images. Without a competent director this is gonna be a stinker.

This makes me wonder, "Why bother?" The original was mildly unique for its time, and showed Carpenter had potential as a filmmaker, it was more of a calling card for what was to come rather than a masterpiece. Considering how many times he used the "small group under siege" plot that he got from his role model Howard Hawks, Carpenter kinda already remade this film several times himself.

I am honestly starting to think studios just ask focus groups "Which of these titles to old films we own do you really like or respond to when you hear it,? Never mind if you saw the first one or not." And if the group likes the title they remake the film.

It'll be another run of the mill actioner. Boring!
