Title: Anyone have a BM T-shirt to sell?
Post by: Newt on June 22, 2008, 09:24:31 AM
Stupid question, I know.  Who would part with theirs.  But I WANT one. Maybe somebody has an extra...
Are there any out there?
(Of course I could wait for the next batch...but Andrew is busy enough and I don't want to bug him about it.)

Okay, I'll be the stupid one to ask...what's a BM t-shirt?

Here's a hint, it isn't what some people think of when they hear BM.  :bouncegiggle:

Badmovies.org (t-shirt), I believe.  They can be found via CafePress:

I do want to get another run of the good quality, black t-shirts with silk screening done, like the first run.  However, I will not be able to this summer.  My intent is to get a run done in the spring of 2009.

I do have a single XXL shirt that was never sold, but that is a very large size.

Those shirts look great, Andrew.

When you do your next batch, please send me your address so that I can get a bank draft to you for payment and postage for one.

Sorry Newt, but I'm not parting with either of mine.  I still have two of the original ones and I treasure them.  Great shirts!

When you are ready to have the t-shirts done, if you want to compare services let me know and I'll quote you a price as I do sell advertising specialties and the souvenir distributing service for which I built a website can have stuff like that done.

Yes the juxtaposition of the Teddy Bear and the somewhat suggestive phrase is interesting to say the least.

Sounds like a pick up line from a geek with a pen pocket protector and horn rimmed glasses.

*Sigh* ash grey it is then.  I'll have to watch for the next edition and scoop a 'cooler' black one later!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Andrew.  (I am relieved to report that XXL is indeed not my size.)

And what is wrong with XXL? Just because your XXL doesn't mean it's in the waist, but I admit I don't like being XXL because ...

1. Chick buy all the shirts for nightwear.
2. They cut them for a 50" waist and 36" chest and not a 36" waist and 50" chest.
3. They rarely make good looking cloths in XXL unless you're a hip-hop fan, which I'm not.

I am one of the 'chicks', Cheeze.  My waist might not be XXL, but neither is the rest of me.  It's a gal thing: guys can pull off XXL much better.

James runs into this problem alot. He's just a big dude. He's not fat at all, just tall and broad shouldered.

I hate the way they size things these days. Everything that is labeled size seven should actually be a seven. It makes buying clothes a nightmare. I've got jeans in my closet labeled with everything from size five to size nine; ironically they are all the same size...

When the new batch of tshirts are ready; i so want one...

Dunno about jeans, but one thing I know about large clothing is that once you get past 2X, not all the sizes are standardized.  I've had two shirts, supposedly the same size, one would fit comfortably and the other wouldn't.

The other problem I've run into is what I like to call "surprise shrinkage".  That is, you buy a shirt, it fits fine, you wear it, you wash and then, boom, it's shrunk.

Between all that and the fact my skin was this weird reaction to polyester and anything with strips (I have NO clue why) it's hard for me to shop for clothes.
