Nice collection, I didn't realize LIFE OF BRIAN was on Criterion.

I'm not going to find covers for all these but here's mine:

3 WOMEN
8 1/2
ANTICHRIST
BLACK MOON
"By Brakhage"
CLEAN, SHAVEN
A HARD DAYS NIGHT
"A Hollis Frampton Odyssey"
THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST
THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU
MEDIUM COOL
NAKED LUNCH
PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK
SCANNERS
SCHIZOPOLIS
SHOCK CORRIDOR
SOLARIS
THE TIN DRUM
WEEK END
ZAZIE DANS LE METRO

I got Hulu because the Criterion Collection is available there for streaming, I've seen many of their movies that way.

I don't own many Criterion DVD's, but some years back I decided I was going to watch all of them. I use the spine number (publication order). So far I'm up to 126. A lot of these movies are great, but some are freaking terrible.

Also, I can't find a copy of "How to Get Ahead in Advertising" anywhere.

Shouldn't be hard to find the movie itself, but if you specifically want to watch the Criterion edition you'll have to pay. Check Ebay frequently. I think this was one of those bare bones Criterions from the early days of DVD. I don't see any extra features offered.

Do see it, I think you would like it. Bizarre but very focused. It can be preachy, but the dialogue and Richard E. Grant's performance are stunning.

FIRST MAN INTO SPACE, THE HAUNTED STRANGLER, CORRIDORS OF BLOOD and THE ATOMIC SUBMARINE are part of Criterion box set entitled "MONSTERS AND MADMEN". The rest are singular issues.

I have one of their boxed collections of off-beat American cinema called America Lost and Found

It has:

Head
Easy Rider
Five Easy Pieces
Drive, He Said
A Safe Place
The Last Picture Show
The King of Marvin Gardens

I admit I bought it just for HEAD, but the others made it a sure thing with extra icing on top.

I have that on my wishlist and I want it for HEAD too.

In fact, I just plain want HEAD, not necessarily all the other stuff that come with it... I think I'll stop here.

It might just be better to call it "the Monkees' movie". I think Rafelson and Nicholson called it HEAD just to mess with the suits and to alert drug-friendly folks how to prepare for the experience.
