The Burgomaster

Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn makes me believe this will be worth seeing.

Okay, I'm generally anti-remake with a passion, but yeah, this could work.

It may help that this is, evidently, based more on the book than the original film was.  The big one being they're keeping it all from the young girl's point of view.  Definitely could be really good.

I'm sure it'll be great, it being made by the Coen Brothers and all. And it's not a remake at all actually, but an adapation of the book indeed.

Count me as cautiously optimistic; the Coens & Jeff Bridges doing ANYTHING together makes me happy, but I  love the original True Grit.  I'm hoping that it really does follow the book closely.
