DIE, MONSTER, DIE! (1965): http://radiation-scarred-reviews.blogspot.com/2009/11/die-monster-die-1965.html (http://radiation-scarred-reviews.blogspot.com/2009/11/die-monster-die-1965.html)
"The story goes in different directions from The Colour Out of Space, though this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Indeed, I'd argue that DIE, MONSTER, DIE! has a brilliant storyline. The cosmic horror of Lovecraft's original story is muted a little bit, but an element of "familial horror" is introduced in the form of Corbin Witley, Nahum's father."

THE APE (1940): http://radiation-scarred-reviews.blogspot.com/2009/11/ape-1940.html (http://radiation-scarred-reviews.blogspot.com/2009/11/ape-1940.html)
"A huge and ferocious gorilla (Ray "Crash" Corrigan, one of the great Ape Actors of Hollywood's Golden Age, along with George "Ro-Man" Barrows and Bob Burns) gets loose from the circus and begins to terrorize the countryside...until it runs into Dr. Adrian."
