What kind of toys does everyone here have? Here's one of mine (when it was new). It's a 2007 Yamaha Raptor 700 GYTR. Since then I've added some cool new pipes and tires. This thing absolutely RIPS. The day I got it I drove it home on the highway and passed a couple of cars. It has (had) a speed limiter that kicked in around 78-79 MPH, had no problem hitting that.

So, what kind of cool toys does everyone have?
Toys? Er, I've still got most of the My Pretty Pony collection I used to have?
I'm fully expecting Andrew to put up a picture of an atrillery piece or something equally cool.
I'm poor. All I could afford is Ball In A Cup.

One time, I missed the cup and was terrified I'd lost the ball forever. Luckily, I suddenly remembered that the ball is on a string and attached to the cup. What a relief! PHEW!
I covet a lot of geek toys. I think this Minority Report-style virtual keyboard (http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/input/8193/) is pretty near the top of my wishlist. A Roomba (the robot vacuum cleaner) is up there too.
But being also a cheapskate, when I actually buy toys they tend to be cheap crap. So I'm learning that the little one-inch square plastic MP3 player I bought doesn't seem to have any way to control what audio clip plays next. That's a lot of fun when you try listen to an audio book on it.
Well I do gots me one of these:

I'm kinda cheap also, so I've learned to NEVER have to buy anything OVER. I used to spend small amounts of money on cheap stuff until I realized if I figure out what I want it to do, find it in a quality brand, and find a good deal and whatever that item is, I tend to not have to buy it over and over. Also, this helps weed out the stuff I only like impulsively.
Its kinda sad... I don't really have any toys or hobbies. Justthe usual run of lawn and power tools for working on the house. If I have free time its spent with the family taking classes/working a second job, or working on the house.

1996 Yamaha Virago...

Welcome back, Odinn7: haven't seen you for a while.
I thought about you a few days ago when I was watching the XFiles episode Pusher. There's a scene in a supermarket where Robert Wisden takes a magazine off a rack. One of the storylines reads "Girl raised by squirrels found begging in park"
As to toys, I still have my first teddy bear. He's 41 years old and has an eye missing ~ probably due to all the stuff he's seen while he's been with me. Remember what Sam Neill did to his eyes in Event Horizon? I think my teddy bear did that. :buggedout:
I've got a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang and a Suzuki GS450 out in the garage, haven't touched either of them in years and years. I really should sell the Mustang, but man, that would be like selling my youth. :bluesad:
Got a set of golf clubs, but it's November and I'm in Minnesota, so they're sitting in the laundry room, not to see the light of day again until April.
Other than that, just my entertainment center and my DVD collection. I've got a pretty nice 5.1 surround sound system, right now I'm debating about upgrading to 7.1. There's some little speakers that are affordable, but they're so little I'm wondering if they'd sound any good. Then there's some larger speakers that are affordable and I'm sure they'd sound good, but having those huge things hanging on the wall would look a bit ridiculous, even for me. Of course, then there's the perfect speakers, but they cost twice as much as the others. I'm agonizing over whether 7.1 would be worth all that money. I don't know what to do...I'm in a complete quandary.
Let's see a picture of the 'stang. If you were to sell it, how much are you asking?
i don't have a car or any gadgets, but I do have my bloostained Ibanez & marshall DFX amp.

Here's my Mustang:

No idea what I'd want for it. What are all my memories of youthful debauchery worth?

Cool, but you better get it away from that weirdo before he breaks it. . :bouncegiggle:
Nice ax though, looks cool.
I'm not really a big fan of gadgets except for this laptop and my personal C.D player. I do however have an acoustic guitar which I've been playing with for several years.
