I just read this post from another board and whilst I skipped most of it [it's a really lenghty post] and I don't know exactly how trustworthy all the info is, this post was an incredible insight into studio politics and just the general screw-up that has been Superman V. An interesting read if you have the time on your hands. Why did the studios and Burton feel that Superman needed to be reinvented? What would be so wrong with Superman the way he is supposed to be?

My oh my, those folks are just crazy. Sure you can tell fans to get over it, and they will by panning the crap out of such stupid ideas. |
