Title: MP3 players Post by: raj on October 14, 2008, 09:19:57 AM I got a nice little check back from my mortgage company because there was too much money in my escrow account. Sorta like that Monopoly Chance card, bank error in your favor, collect $10.
Anyway, it's probably about time I broke down and got an MP3 player. I'll most likely use it for podcasts rather than music. So what MP3 players do folks here like/use? The catch is it has to be under $100 so no iPod or Zune. Video capability is nice, FM tuner a must. Thanks Title: Re: MP3 players Post by: Ash on October 14, 2008, 09:24:02 AM Check this old thread...
http://www.badmovies.org/forum/index.php/topic,113697.0.html I believe Menard got a decent Sansa for a reasonable price under $100. Title: Re: MP3 players Post by: Psycho Circus on October 14, 2008, 09:24:34 AM I got a Sony mp3 player 2 years ago for about $40. I've got about 90-100 songs on it, but I lost the disc that came with it to transfer/change files - so I don't really bother with the thing anymore.
Title: Re: MP3 players Post by: Derf on October 14, 2008, 11:30:42 AM SanDisk is the #2 seller of mp3 players (after Apple), and they have quite a few models for under $100 (quite a bit under, in fact). TigerDirect.com lists 1 gig players as low as $17 (refurb), with only one player costing over $100. Other websites will have other deals, but I've been happy with the SanDisk players I've got (I got two of them through woot.com for $10 apiece).
Creative also has some very good players, though fewer come with the FM tuner. Newegg lists several for under $100. |
