Title: "The Return of the Living Dead" DVD announced! Post by: Mario on May 10, 2002, 12:00:47 PM Yep, MGM is releasing ROTLD on DVD come August 27th. It will have a new 16x9 widescreen transfer and a new Dolby digital mono sound mix. The extras include an audio commentary with Dan O'Bannon and production designer William Stout, a featurette with interviews, a stills gallery of artwork and sketches, and the original trailer. It will retail for $14.95.

So the fans, who will be the largest buying segment, should buy this one and then next year buy the other? And if they hold off buying this one to wait for the Special Edition, it might never materialize?
