Title: Sci-Fi Channel: Ghost Hunters
Post by: Scott on October 19, 2006, 05:24:24 AM
GHOSTHUNTERS is back with a new season on Sci-Fi Channel. This week they went to Bisbee and Tombstone, Arizona. Good moment caught on film with a bed cover moving while one of the guys is sleeping under it.

This show is a guilty pleasure of mine.  I have waited sooooooo long for the new season.  The only thing I don't like is that the two main characters are obsessed with shaking hands with everyone. I guess it is the fact that they always shake hands in a really big, boisterous fashion....like swinging there arm towards the other person in a big arc.  I don't know why this frustrates me, but it just does.  Just show some ghosts damnit.   Enough of the hand shaking.

I'm not crazy, really.

Yea, I'm not that crazy about the two main characters, but they are ok. I think I've watched every single episode of GHOSTHUNTERS. Really enjoy the program. They catch some good stuff once in a while.

Would like to see MTV's FEAR make a comeback.

I watch the show as well. I am also a moderator on their message board. Funny that you should mention the hand shake thing...that irritates the hell out of me too.

I am happy to know that I am not the only person who is irritated by the handshakes.  I do think it is a great show.  My wife used to laugh at me for watching it, but now she is addicted too.

The handshake must be their trademark.

By the way the manager at the Bird Cage Theater from the show last week is the same guy I spoke to when I went there about 4 years ago. Nice guy who pointed out all the authentic bullit holes in the saloon to me. Tombstone, Arizona is a neat place to visit. Be sure to go to the O.K. Corral where they have Vince Price doing the narration to the story of Tombstone. Must have been recorder many years ago. Also a visit to Boot Hill were some of the Clanton gang are buried and the Crystal Palace Saloon.

GHOST HUNTERS was pretty good tonight with the small family home haunting. They picked up some audio of a little girl or child humming and also asking a question. Then they went to a Virginia Penatentuary were over 900 people died. They heard stuff and the atmosphere was heavy, but didn't pick up much else.

Noticed they aren't working for Roto Rooter anymore. At least they don't show them work there anymore. There travels are getting wider every year. Like last week in Tombstone and Bisbee, Arizona. Still doing the handshake. Didn't really notice it till you guys mentioned it.

I've been Tombstone, Arizona. Interesting town. Though now it is more of a ghost town then the thriving community it once was. I wanted to hear Price's narration, but I didn't have time. Nor, unfortunately, did I get to see the largest rosebush in the world, as I didn't have time for that neither. I did get to Boot Hill, and while the man buried there, may never have existed, he has one of the greatest tombstones I've ever seen.  "Lester Moore. 4 shots from a .44. No less. No more." That's a tombstone you can take to your grave.
