In a tweet from Gottfried's account, his family wrote that he passed away after a long illness. "In addition to being the most iconic voice in comedy, Gilbert was a wonderful husband, brother, friend, and father to his two young children. I have to admit, I liked Rhonda more, but I thought he was cool too. I remember seeing him in other movies and shows after that and saying "Hey! I know that guy!" I recently learned he has two young kids ages 12 and 14. That's a hard time to lose a parent. So sad to see him go. I'm grateful for the weird impression he left on the world. Definitely an unforgettable guy. |
