Yes, well done, India! And sorry your mission didn't go as planned, Russia! I'm all behind humans making it to space. as long as we don't militarize it, which I imagine we will. (People keep saying the photos India sent back from the moon look like bad SPFX, but I haven't seen them. I guess not everyone has a Kubrick to fake their moon backgrounds, eh?  )

Every time I have ever been to a wedding and the officiate says, "If anyone have just cause for why this marriage shall not precede, let him speak now or forever hold his peace" I have felt an almost ungovernable compulsion to stand up and say something, just blurt something out, quote a poem, start singing, anything. I even felt that at my own wedding, like it was a moment of extreme pressure that depended on me alone to alleviate before the entire world exploded. Sometimes out in the congregation I've even fidgeted to try to contain that energy, and it's once or twice been a struggle to keep quiet and not burst into laughter. Then when the ceremony moved on the feeling would instantly go away.

On another forum I lurk on, an old grandmotherly lady is discussing the hummingbirds that come to her bird feeder.

Unfortunately, she calls hummingbirds "hummers."

This leads to unfortunate sentences like "I got a hummer this morning."

So far no one has corrected her.
