Every once in a while a celebrity tries to sing and mostly the results are lets say interesting.
Some are astonishingly entertaining
as Leonard Nimoy performing the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC73PHdQX04
some rather tragic like Lolo Ferraris Airbag Generation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC0h4qREgyw
and some times it is utter embarassing and I dare you to try to beat this:
The national German Soccer team of 1994 performing with the village People ( we totally lost afterwards in the championships, a just punishment for this):

So has anybody something to add?
One of the worst songs I ever heard was in the 80's. The Chicago Bears recorded a song. I like a lot of 80's music, but yikes!
You'd be referring to the Superbowl Shuffle.
Admit it -- they're so bad that you know they're good,
blowin' your mind like you knew they would! :teddyr:

of course
and lastly,
FABIO

i love it when he says "will she keees me like dat?"
Oh and I had to edit this post to add JOE PESCI RAPPING
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4et8Dt6rco (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4et8Dt6rco)
This earns the WTF award for the year
Ugh. In the world of bad stuff, Susan, you have a vicious left hook. I had forgotten that flaming piece of crap Hoff song. Thank You So Much for resurrecting the memory!
And it's so long! It's just going on and on in another window as I type this! You can't stop it!
What have we here... a cover of "Secret Agent Man" done up in faux Bond style?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKuQXGrFSQ0&mode=related&search=
And a cover of "Falling in Love Again" too -- watch out ladies, the Hoff is wearing a greasy white tank top.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCkAOcb5U0A&mode=related&search=
[Edit: That Village People song with the German soccer team is, I agree, thoroughly embarrassing. Perhaps it is in some devious way related to the Hoff's success and popularity in Germany?]
secret agent man..rofl
I have this feeling hasslehoff has a green screen in his house and he just loads up videos and stands in front of it
Check out my edit on my post - i added joe pesci, a MUST SEE
Oh merciful gods NO, NOT THE HOFF!!!!!!
Just for that, here's Chyna (the wrestler) doing her cover of InnaGadaDaVida:

I applaud to Susan and Snivelly for those great contributions, as for the Hoff he was the hero of my childhood, mostly because he was the only american superstar to come to Germany regularly .Otherwise I would have opted for Dwight Schulz, but he only came to Germany once to work in a gruesome sequel of Hart to Hart, which should be regarded kindly as toxic Waste http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0160356/)
That Hoff one is a crack-up. In that he is really cracked up!
I've been listening, on and off, to Fabios work ever since you posted that link ages ago Susan, and it still stays with me. Kind of like a bad smell...
At one stage I had him singing as my ring tone, but since that was about five seconds worth of 'When somebody loves somebody... DESPERATELY" I kind of took it off and replaced it with the Captain Planet theme since it was less [albeit it not by much] embarrasing...

The only thing that would make that footage
somewhat bareble, is if Chyna was lip-syncing and her and the two ladies in the background were naked
That Joe Pesci er... *cough!* *cough!!!* ... . "rapping" .... that was awful.
"It's da b***hes dat'll getcha!"
There's something to hum to myself for the next two days. What made it awful was that I didn't get any clear tongue-in-cheek vibe from it. It felt like they might have been attempting seriousness.
And that Chyna video was just plain tragic.
This one is worse because they don't have the excuse of being utterly intoxicated. I give you.......
The Brady Bunch singing "American Pie" http://retrocrush.com/archive2007/badcovers/brady.mp3
Speaking of Chyna's room clearing perfomance, two wrestlers-cum-singers actually put out rap albums; John Cena and Randy "Macho Man" Savage (Oooo yeah, dig it!!!!). Now this is no promotion or anything, but if any of you have napster, I think they're still there.

Oh man, that Macho Man album's the greatest thing in the world!... to torture friends and loved ones with. I love how the man has lost all touch with reality and puts all this effort into trying to pick a fight with Hulk Hogan, apparently never realizing that, unless somebody's going to write the feud for them and put it on TV, IT'S NOT REAL! I also enjoy the Macho Man's heart felt tribute to the deceased Curt Hennig... were I Mr. Perfect, I'd rise from my grave just so I could throttle that crazy old steroid case with a 9-iron!
Speaking of horrible wrestler albums, here's something that makes Led Zepplin and the Beetles sound like retarded kids farting on a snare drum...

My highest reccomendation? Track 7: Beach Patrol. We used to listen to that when work was winding down and laugh ourselves stupid every night. It's like an orgasm for the sense... :teddyr:

i pity the fool who tells Mr T a 'yo momma' joke
Bruce Willis
Eddie Murphy.
Also, in like, 1985, the then WWF put out an album called "The Wrestling Album" that featured 10 tracks, 9 of which were performed by wrestlers. One track was performed by Derringer.
It features such classics as "Eat Your Heart Out Rick Springfield" by Jimmy Hart, "Tutti Frutti" by Mean Gene Okerlund, and my personal favorite "Don't Go Messing With a Country Boy" by Hillbilly Jim.

Leonard Nimoy's BALLAD OF BILBO BAGGINS remains the worst celebrity song of all time . . . in this or any other galaxy.
Aw, come on Indy, you're not completely immune to the droning charms of Nimoy on Baggins, are you? It's just so damn catchy! :teddyr:
No, no, no . ..
You get to retire nothing:
Nobody here has mentioned Richard Harris!! Never mind "McArthur Park", Dumbledore released a dreadful LP called "Photographs", around 1972, or so.
I'm too computer illiterate to look up any MP3 or whatever & post it here, but if it exists out there, somebody should post it here. He positively blows Mr. T out of the pond.
Trust me . . .
peter earpain/denny screech!!
