Title: older couple driving a motorhome in desert with big rolling boulders.
Post by: Kirk on February 05, 2009, 10:41:40 PM
In the late 70's I saw only part of a movie on TV. It was a saturday afternoon I think and the scene I remember was an older lady was standing behind her husband who was driving in a motor home. They were driving on a desert flat with no specific road, like they were driving across an expansive dried lake bed or maybe something like death valley calif. Anyway, as they were driving there were huge black bolder rolling towards them and they had to keep swerving to miss the boulders. (I know... this sound like a video game plot but it is a movie I saw...). The lady was getting hysterical and starting to cry. She was being tossed back and forth in the motor home while her husband was fighting to stay in control and not hit any of the huge boulders. Does anyone remember this movie? Please help. :)

Possibly The Hills Have Eyes.
(not 100% on that)

I'm pretty positive that there's no boulder-rolling in the original "Hills." Perhaps "The Hills Have Eyes 2?"

Ghosts That Still Walk (1977)

I just recently watched this movie for the first time and I was impressed. Great little creepy made for TV horror.

Oooh... I need to find a copy of that. It'd go great with "The Manitou" and "Shadow of the Hawk."
