Title: Paintball (2009)
Post by: Killer Bees on April 03, 2011, 03:20:26 AM
I wasn't really fussed by this film, even though the trailer made it look fantastic.  It was like a poor man's Severance but without the interesting bits.

I hate the moving camera filming style like Cloverfield.  I don't usually suffer from motion sickness, but this film style makes me want to chuck.  This movie was no different.  The script was pretty sparse and it seemed that every second word was "fsck!".  So nothing impressive there.

I was just disappointed overall.  I don't usually go into movies with any kind of expectations but I was looking forward to this one.  I didn't connect with any of the characters so when they died in horrible ways, I was like, "meh" and I couldn't wait until the end of the movie to see what happened.

The end wasn't much chop either.  There was no resolution, no clean ending, not even an interesting ending.  It just kind of ended and that was it.  I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone and I certainly wouldn't buy it.

Silly as it sounds, the movie makers really let me down with this one.  Bad movie makers! *smack*

I totally agree. It is not even bad in a good way, just crap.

That is Severance.  :teddyr:

Seriously, apart fromn the pie joke, that film was completely flat for me.

I might give paintball a go though.

Its a Spanish production and would of been so much better if they made it in Spanish language. Its pretty throw-away.

There is another really cool looking Italian Paintball horror coming out called War Games aka At the End of the Day.

Zero Boys was another one in the paintball horror sub-genre.
