Here's a question to ask of all you guys and gals of the big four (five, if you include the Air Force. lol Just kidding). If you ever watched a military movie, like Heartbreak Ridge or Private Benjamin before enlisting, don't it feel different watching it now that you have gone through at least basic training?
Just a thought.
ABSOLUTELY!!! I saw Heartbreak Ridge when I was 9 or 10...the coolest. Still think it is. However, now when I watch it, especially in the company of civies, I can't stop nit-picking. For instance, although the movie is set at Camp Lejeune, the MOUT facility where Gunny Highway demo;s the AK-47 look suspiciously like the ramshackle facility at SOI Camp Pendleton. Don't start me on Major Payne!! Camp Pendleton...VIRGINIA?????
