Post by: sprite75 on September 17, 2020, 09:40:26 AM I remember reading one of the Choose Your Own Adventure (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choose_Your_Own_Adventurel) gamebooks back in junior high about a kid who was launched into orbit between one of the outer planets and put in cryogenic suspension for 1000 years.
The ship's computer told the kid that one of the places it could take him was to Venus since the humans had blasted holes in the cloud cover to enable the excees CO2 to bleed off and sped up the planet's rotation to 24 hours. The equator was too hot to support human life and the story ended if you chose to go there but the middle and upper latitudes could support life. Title: Re: Life on Venus?
