Or do you mean the campy TV series "Monsters" that ran from 1988-1991(and later on Sci Fi in syndication)?

One of the Buffalo stations used to show it late at night on weekends. Used to come home and watch it before going to bed. It was great. One really weird thing happened just before they stopped showing it. Seems the station managed to get a single sponsor for the show, who demanded quite a lot for his money. The station cobbled together a crappy new opening for the show, which they retitled Claude Electric Monsters. It was the stupidest thing. Title: Re: monsters Post by: Dave Munger on October 02, 2004, 04:02:35 PM I don't know if this was "Monsters" or not (could have been "Tales From the Dark Side" or something), but I liked the one where a UFO had crashed and killed a bunch of people, then a force field or something trapped all the survivors in the area around it. I think the survivors where two men, a little girl, and the alien, who looked kind of like a Christmas tree. Of course, it was an accident, you can hear the alien thinking about how he needs to communicate with the natives to get them to help him fix it. Again, *of course* the adults think the alien is viscious and the little girl has an ET thing going on with it. It takes place around Christmas.
Title: Re: monsters Post by: Mr. Hockstatter on October 02, 2004, 07:45:55 PM I love monsters. Alien was my favorite. The critters in Bone Snatcher were probably the ickiest. But anything from vampires to giant spiders to cheesy low budget props will do just fine.
