The premise is simple...the newly appointed caretaker of a local cemetery discovers quite by accident that when he puts black pins in people's pre-bought burial plts, they seem to end up dead....how...and what happens if he puts a white pin in?

I haven't seen it in about 20 years, but the DVD is included in the HORROR CLASSICS 50 MOVIE PACK, so I'll probably watch it again soon.

I liked it for the fact that it starred Richard Boone. A much underutilized actor, who could play equally well, both the villain or the hero in films, and probably is best known for playing Paladin on "Have Gun Will Travel."

I thought the ending was what it had to be. If it had gone the direction that I gess it was originally supposed to have, it would have the problem of turning from a 'twilight zone' feel into a 'zombie' movie rather abrubtly and I thought that would be pretty akward. What they ended up with, though, in providing a 'natural' explanation, did feel like it was rushed and had some problems. But all along, there seemed to be an attempt to keep only the one character as going mad, while those around didn't quite buy it, so a natural resolution did seem more sensible. Not a bad film starring Richard Boone. Neat idea that didn't come off real great. Worth a look. It's a quality production.
