Title: THE IMPOSSIBLE KID (1982) - Sequel to FOR YOUR HEIGHT ONLY Post by: The Burgomaster on April 09, 2006, 08:04:25 AM I was surprised to see this movie included in the MARTIAL ARTS 50 MOVIE PACK. And what a movie it is!
2' 9" tall actor Weng-Weng returns as "Agent 00," a pint-sized Interpol agent who rides a miniature motorcycle. The story involves a hooded terrorist sending videotapes to a group of wealthy men saying that he will kill one of them every day unless they pay him 1 million pesos! The movie has several funny scenes, including one in which Agent 00 is being lowered down the side of an apartment building on a rope. As he passes each floor, he peeks in the windows. On one floor, he sees a young woman taking a shower . . . but she is wearing panties. Other scenes include tiny Weng-Weng engaged in martial arts fights against normal sized men and women. He mostly kicks them in the legs and when they fall down, he jumps on them. I'm not sure what Weng-Weng's real voice sounds like, but the actor they used to dub his lines into English has a strong, debonair, "hero's" voice that doesn't seem to match his small body. This is a fun, fast paced piece of B-cinema. |
