I agree, most of the stuff he does is terrible, but yet so stupid it is actually funny. Have you seen any of his films with Albert Pyun? They are the stuff you have to see after serious drinking, specially "Mean guns". I am really waiting for the moment when he does really hilarious stuff but still thinks he is doing something good, as it happened with Jean Claude Van Damme and his hilarious Tsui Hark films. If you haven't seen "Knock Off", you should.
About "Fortress", it is actually watchable, so I would not include it into this category, but "Fortress II"... my best friend and I still laugh at the scene when he jumps out to space without any kind of protection. And it has been almost a year since we saw the movie. |
