From the clip, one can see that the officer in it is not a Marine. When there is trouble, a Marine officer leads his men into trouble. He doesn't follow his men into trouble. Wait! That didn't come out quite right. But, I am sure everybody knows what I am talking about. Enjoy!

Pierce's original script that, for one reason or another, didn't end up in the film. For one thing, the Cosmic Man was essentially invisible, so in the script there were scenes of him acquiring the clothing, and finding and applying facial makeup (ala some "Invisible Man" movies) so that he could move amongst people in some scenes. As far as the crazy thick glasses go, that was a choice made for added dramatic effect more than anything, to make Carradine's eyes look huge and bizarre. Pierce went out and bought the glasses himself for the production.

As a child I help my Dad build the plywood and fiberglass ball. The last I heard it was a golfball in Solidad Canyon at Rivers Bend.
