Used to watch this movie in high school. Man, what a funny movie. That one line: "Orlando, choreographer, dancer" is classic.
GOLD!!
Welcome back. It is good to see another new review. They are the best.
I loved this movie! Check it out...did anyone notice Jean Claude Van Damme in the first screen shot of the image section????? HILARIOUS!!!!! Me and my brother noticed it when we watched the movie a few years back. How crazy is that?
yeah
'great' movie
the really sole reason to watch the movie is view JCVD dancing, lol
This film inspired me to become the breakdance master that I am today.
thank god the site is still alive, took a year and a half to get this great review LOL.
Good to see the reviews are coming back. This is the best site on the internet!
Great review!
Might the reason why there was not more breakdancing featured was because the movie industry may have been worried if they showed more, they may be held responsible for accidents as kids' copied the stars of the movie?
btw breakdancing is not particularly dangerous really. In a battle, even when doing power moves, b-boys and b-girls will have far too much coordination not to run into each other, surely?
Yeah, that was Vandamme and his trainer beside him.The one that played Tong Po in Kickboxer. Also the one that got the compound fracture to the leg courtesy of Bolo in Bloodsport.Used Vandamme because he worked for the same company I think they made Kickboxer and Bloodsport.Great movie a true classic!....Where are Turbo and Ozone today?
Puh-leeezzz! I went to the movies to see this show waaay back when it was first released in 84' and I was just 11.
I loved it even then, and I still love it today. Back then, we had major fun wearing our parachute pants and
jordans, breakdancing and poplockin'. The youngsters nowadays do'nt know what fun is..unless its listening to
that messed up new rap music with all the cussing and spoke by individuals with absolutly no talent! Long live 'Breakin'!
I never saw "Breakin'", but I do remember how adults would warn us kids not to break dance. Those were the same people who told us that our neighbors might slip drugs into our Halloween candy and razors in our apples. Now they're warning kids about backyard wrestling, and saying that terrorists will put stuff in our food supply. No wonder I stopped trusting authority around the age of six!

I love this movie and Breakin Two, Electric Bugaloo. I watch both when ever I can. It is corny, but fun. Plus my boys can watch them with me.
One day I will own the movies, one day.
QuoteOkay, the real reason to watch this scene is to spot Jean-Claude Van Damme as one of the crowd. He is dressed in a black unitard. He is also clapping and moving from side to side. I do not know what sort of bizarro universe this scene came from; I do know that I never want to go there.
:bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:
I remember getting choked up at the end where they dance like never before to the sounds of
There's No Stoppin' Us: great film.
That poor guy in the front: what the hell is wrong with his ankles and backside? :buggedout: :teddyr: :teddyr:
