Wow, just the sight of that Andy Kaufman robot is enough to scare me the hell away from this. Then there's that theme song, the ugh dialogue, and... HENNY YOUNGMAN? I can see how the Webmaster qualified for the marines, because this looks like the ultimate endurance test.

I don't like that Andy Kaufman's attempt at cutesy pie voice. It's so frigging annoying! Though I think when he p**sed off the whole South. That was funny! These people take themselves way too seriously! (I like down South.)
Worse than Robo CHIC?
Stan winston did the special effects and won an award for it
OK, this deserves Robot Hell.
Show it who's boss, Krogoth.
Good Lord, the audio clips are painful enough! The Webmaster sat through an entire movie of this tripe? He should be cloned to improve the human gene pool -- such heroic resilience is a scarce commodity among us mortals.
Those who are sufficiently steeped in sci-fi probably noticed the "clever" names of the junk yard geeks, Calvin and Susan. The robot expert in Asimov's "I Robot" stories is Dr. Susan Calvin.
Maybe there is something out there worst then "The Star Wars: Holiday Special," or maybe this is the worst film that Andrew has seen this year.
I remember this, or, at least, I remember the commercials for this film. Maybe it's a good idea I didn't waste my money seeing this.
I knew that party guest in the image looked familiar. That's cult director/actor Paul Bartel. Whose next film, would be the cult favorite, "Eating Raoul."
And Calvin, he's played by actor, Christopher Guest.
As I have said, I have not seen this film, but Jack Carter must not have written his own jokes. I have heard him, and he can be quite funny.
Wow. That clicp I says it all already. They should use it at Gitmo.

OH NO!! my human heart is broken. I read "this is worst piece of cinematographic disaster in rather a while" and almost cried! I love this film so much and am really sad to firstly read that it deserves Robot Hell, and secondly that is on www.badmovies.org! I'm gutted.

LOL! I was a kid (6) when I saw this and loved it. It's a good baby sitting video.
I've had an odd desire to see this for the longest time. Luckily I've resisted. That clip alone is enough to require a man to come in and slap your face when it's done. Just to get your brain back up and running. Still....one day....I'll put myself through this...I just know it........ :bluesad:
eeeh! watch it - watch it NOW! its great, even if you don't like it - i'm sure you wll stull find it great!
xx
I saw this in the theater when it came out. Thank god for therapy. And psychiatric pharmaceuticals. And electro-shock.
I just watched this flick on DVD and I didn't think it was too bad. Catskill (the Henny Youngman robot) had some good lines. Yes, its a silly movie but its harmless and light-not too brain taxing. God bless Andy Kaufman! If only he had been in a movie where he could really cut loose. I can't believe Alan Arkush ("Get Crazy") directed this flick. Not what you'd expect from the man who gave us one of the ultimate teenage rebellion movies of the late 1970s-I mean (of course) "Rock And Roll High School". Did anyone notice that both Paul Bartel and Mary Woronov cameoed in "Heartbeeps"?
A friend of mine watched this, and he died in 7 days. It's that bad.
I watched a few minutes of this film on TV back in the summer. From what I watched it didn't seem to good, but I am willing to watch it though.
