Title: Frankenstein Meets The Space Monster
Post by: Mr. DS on November 28, 2006, 12:47:48 PM
I currently drudged through 1965's Frankenstein Meets The Space Monster.  Working on the review currently.  Anyone ever see this mess of a film?

It has been a long time since I have seen it. It was in 1974 and was playing on a Saturday afternoon on TV. I remember wondering 'where's Frankenstein?' throughout the movie. Of course, being that there was only one television station we could get, and a PBS station, this was high entertainment compared to what was usually available.  :bluesad:

Burgomaster recently viewed FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MOSNTER. Looking forward to finding a copy.

I caught this film on TV just once as a kid. I never really remembered much from it except for the few brief scenes borrowed for It Came From Hollywood. When the DVD came out earlier this year I snatched it up and gave it a spin. What a crapfest!

My kind of movie!  :teddyr:

I saw this on TV at Halloween.  I loved it.  More filler than a cheap hot dog, but good stuff.

Here is my thumbnail review from an earlier post:
This is on the local retro/ironic/bad movie and TV show (called Super Atomic TV) as I write (Halloween).   Its a real gem.  It has it all.  Stock footage filler, inappropraite jazzy musical interludes, stock footage filler, alien planets needing our women, stock footage filler, freeze frames showing "important stuff", monsters made from halloween costumes, and stock footage filler.
Great great stuff!
