Thanx alot! It's good to be home and sober!  My wifey had the Christmas tree up,and even picked mup an old easy chair for a coming home present. Boy, you guys been doing a lot of cool posting while I was out of the loop!
While in rehab I found out an amazing fact- over HALF of the patients in there, about 50% were strung out on heroin. I was not aware,in southwest Micihigan, that herion was so prevelant. A sad eyeopener.

Where do you live, RC?

I used to live in Mason, and then I moved to... drumroll... Edwardsburg.

That's close to Cassopolis, if that booming megapolis helps you place it...

Congratulations on your recovery thus far.

Cass County is South of Van Buern County.Marcellus is on the North end of Cass County, and Lawton is about 10 miles North of that, the first town you hit going north down M-40 into LAWTON, home of the Blue Devils! Nice to hear from a fellow Michagander!

Nothing like a comfy chair to really get you in that holiday spirit.

We have these really comfy theatre style chairs at work which fold right back in one of our theatre rooms, and I've been trying to come up with ways of smuggling them out of the shop without anyone noticing...  So far that idea's a bust but ah well...

Good to see ya back buddy!

Yep, congrats on coming home and coming back. Best of luck and long may your sobriety last. I've had a few relatives and friends who have been to rehab (and some who could benefit from going), mostly for prescription pill abuse. The ones who have stuck with it have really turned their lives around.

Sorry if my comments in the My Space thread were misinterpreted.

And what I would give for one really comfy chair in my house, the bed makes the best seat around here. Even my computer desk chair is a scrounger from work, but better than my old kitchen chair drafted into use before.

Alcoholism and smoking definitely contributed to my father's early death.  He passed away about two years before Jenna was born, so he never even knew he would be a grandfather.  Keep plugging at it and never surrender.
