This brings back memories of the Ren & Stimpy episode, "Space Madness!

After Ren eats the soap in the bathtub, Stimpy is obsessed with trying to not push "The beautiful shiny button!...The jolly, candy-like button!"   :teddyr:

AKA

The History Eraser Button!!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nz2EGzVOWXg)

I kinda like the idea of the Theater seat button.  There are other cases where they need someone to check things out after the films starts rolling. A couple times the camera wasn't centered, another thre real seemed to be off, and another time the sound was low. You would keep hoping someone in the projector room would notice, but there is nobody in the projector room after things get started. Then of course you have the cell phones, babies, and other non-sense going on in the theater.

I'm sure the theater wont like it as some clown will push it continually just to see employees come running in. Maybe the system will also tell the seat number, but that wont help them as they could just push an empty seat button.

This button subject brings back memories when I was a child a couple of years ago....my brothers and I WERE the buttons to the TV. My father was the furthest from the TV so when he wanted the channel changed he would say,"Channel 4 Hoooo",one of us would push the buttons on the TV. It wouldn't stop there, like most fathers he wanted to go to each channel to check out what was on. Thank goodness there were only 7 stations at the time...a couple of years ago..ha.
Another button related problem was with a microwave. I was asking my mom what she would like for dinner.  I started naming things from the freezer, quick microwave dinners. When I mentioned that one of them looked really good, she asked," How long will it take" when I said "3 minutes ", she said "find another one that's too long".
