I use to own this one on VHS. This was a rare 70's dud from beginning to end. If I remember correctly there was a kind of Russian roulette at the end between the pledging sisters. The kind of film Carmeron Mitchell would star in.

One question needs to be answered, was there a stand in tarantula involved in this movie ? Plot foreshadow, chick screams about scary spider, another plot foreshadow spider minding it's own business ... might have just been my copy of the movie, but they appeared to be different eight legged freaks! Was there a stunt double involved, should I watch better movies, does god kill a kitten every time someone watches a schlock horror outing?

"Great" movie, particularly the absurdist ending. If the ending wasn't so damn strange, the movie would just be plain old bad. I feel the same way about 1982's Unhinged.

I bought 50 scary movies for like 15 bucks at Hastings the other day, most of them are B movies, I've seen about 5 of them so far, and this one by far is the best of the group. The ending really is pretty good. The last killing of the movie doesn't make good logical sense, but it does clear the plot up a lot. The acting was bad, but most low budget 70s acting is.

This movie had everything a good scary movie should, snakes, spiders, gatlin guns . . . maybe a little over the top, but all and all it's worth .35 and an hour and a half of my life.

It's been many, many years since I helped review this movie. But you know what? I still love it (:
