This is definitely not from Bad Taste in any way shape or form.

It looks like the piano player from Return of the Jedi.

That's not it though...

Now that i look at the body i see clearly i was wrong. The face looked kinda reminscint iwth the rounded nosy features.

Sorry for any inconvenience my post may have caused.

Seems like I should know what it is.  He was using those levers to control a robot body or something along those lines, right?

I had pm'd Haoleus about his posts, because he seemed to suggesting "Bad Taste" to this and at least one other thread.  My pm asked him to be careful, as he did not seem to be familiar with "Bad Taste" and was guessing at random.  Giving someone a dead end lead could needlessly cost the person in search of the film extra time and even money (if they rent a film based on a bad suggestion).

He did not take the polite suggestion or your post kindly.  He deleted his account and sent me a message that he will never be back, because he did not realize posts needed to be checked for accuracy.  Unfortunately, I believe that he probably needs to develop a thicker skin before doing much posting online.

On the subject of the film, it still stumps me.  The little thing must be an alien or something and it is obviously at the controls for a robot body or ship, but the image does not ring a bell.  Since the creature looks to be clay, can we assume some sort of stop motion film?  I did an IMDB power search with scifi as the genre and stop-motion as a keyword.  A few results looked promising.

I think it was from one of the Meatball sequels.

if i recall the alien from Meatballs Part 2 was a midget in a suit and had legs. if i remember correctly it had a fairly largehead almost reminiscent of "this island Earth" with an "E.T." like spin on it.

Heh, it reminds me of Max Reebo.

I'm almost tempted to say the true form of a Dalek, but something tells me that's wrong.

The Daleks in the TV show did not look like that.  In their first appearance, you saw only a claw reaching out from under a rug - same for their appearance in the first Peter Cushing movie.  Post-Davros daleks have looked like yellow blobs, sometimes with eyes.  The only way it could be a Dalek is if it's from "Dalek Invasion of Earth: 2150 AD", the second Peter Cushing movie, which I have not seen.

Definitely not a Dalek. But if you notice that picture, the alien seems to be clutching at control devices which well look a lot like hot dog wieners. I suspect some type of 80s comedy, probably centering around food.

I suspect they are actually cigars, given their shape and color.

I am still coming up empty on this one too.  The only lead I found was "Intelligent Life" from 2002, but I believe that is a CGI film.  I would guess that the alien itself might be about 12" long, but the frame does not give us any sort of reference.  The production values do look about on par for Dr. Who.  The original poster said that this was from a film, I presume as part of an online quiz he was involved in.  I wonder if they have revealed the answer.

Could this be a early mockup of that the alien in the body of the jeweler from the first MIB would be like?

i think it's entirely possible that this isn't from a film, or a television show at all.

Looks like the Alien in the guys head from Men in Black. I know this looks older but it might be a lead.

Is it possible that the prop is meant to be some sort of ghost, ghoul or genii/djinn rather than an alien?

i think it's altogether possible that this wasn't from a film at all. i mean, where is this image from? this looks like a picture, and not a screen capture/movie still.

This looks familiar to me.  Maybe it's from the film "The Creature Wasn't Nice/Naked Space" with Leslie Nielson.

I don't think so.

No idea I'd try to guess "explorers" or that vein of film. The handles look like wooden sticks
not weiners.
It could also be a photo-cross between a smurf and a proboscis monkey.

I must agree.  This is probably a picture of an art exhibit, a toy, or something similar.

You got me thinking of the little alien dude in Men In Black, but that's not right. I was thinking the same thing, you kinda jogged my memory.
