Title: New To This Forum But I Might Be Known to Some.
Post by: JaseSF on January 08, 2007, 08:40:33 PM
Hi, fellow bad movie lovers. Name's Jase. I write TV File reviews for Gerry Carpenter's www.scifilm.org site. Andrew knows me from over there and I recall discussions with him from my IMDB "sfaddict" (now I'm "Space Mafune" over there) days too before that site descended into chaos and I had to leave. Just felt like having another place to hang out with like-minded folks on the 'net. Expect I'll enjoy it around here.

Welcome aboard Jase!  I do an awful lot of lurking over at the Scifilm board and the TV Files are always a fun read.  One of your recent ones sparked a memory of mine.  Wasn't there some sort of old, talking dragon in the animated "He-Man" series?

These days, I mostly stop in over at the IMDB to help out on the "I Need To Know" board.  Well, when I can answer the questions before Apostic gets to them.  Once he sees it, the question is often as good as dead.

Hey Jase!  I hang out over here too whenever I get a chance.  I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

Thanks for the welcome guys.  :teddyr:

Oh btw. Andrew, while there were dragons in that episode of "He-Man" I recently covered at Scifilm ("The Time Corridor"), they don't talk although Fang Man does refer to them as "my beauties". Fang Man is sort of like the Lizard from Spider-Man only cheesier by far. Doesn't mean there wasn't a talking dragon in the series though. I still have a lot of He-Man to cover and my childhood memory of the show just isn't that good although I watched it religiously in my childhood. I could remember Evil-Lyn, Teela, Ram Man , Beast Man and Mer-Man and the earliest episodes featuring them the best I found.
