Sooo I am looking for the name of a movie... and theres a small chance that is actually a TV show i saw... or something like that. Okay, first of all, a little description of my life when I saw it (I think it will help). My parents werent very rich, so they could only buy a few cheap VHSs for us kids from grocery stores (i think... i was a little kid) I remember around the time when I watched this movie, there were a couple other memorable movies that i watched (and remember) that shaped my childhood - movies like Solarbabies, The Pirate Movie, and Mannequin are all 1985 ish not-so-popular-movies which leads me to beleive the movie [that i am looking for a title for] is as well. Onto the movie I dont know the name for. I don't know much about the point of the movie, but i'm pretty sure the main character was a teenager girl. This girl had blonde hair, which wouldn't stop growing. I don't remember why. (I think it was that she was born that way) A few memorable scenes were one in a bedroom, with a bunk-bed... There was the girl on the top bunk, and she was letting her hair hang over the edge of the bed, and there was a person on the bottom buck (a guy i think), they were having a conversation, while the person on the bottom bunk was casually cutting the girls hair with a pair of scissors. Another scene I remember was the girl was sitting in a full classroom, and her friend (sitting behind her) was cutting her long hair as the teacher was teaching a lesson in the front of the class. If anyone has an idea of what this movie might be, I would love to hear it, and I can tell you if you are right or no... I admit to having not seen this film, but when you gave the description, this was the first film that popped into my head. there isnt much info on the imdb site, but after reading the comments on the page ("i finally remembered the name of this movie! i watched it when i was a kid!") i googled the name, read some reviews, and now im sure that this is it!!!! soooo I must give a HUGE thank you to you Javakoala, :teddyr: you are incredible to me. p.s. also, good call on the different gender of the main character..... the long hair-ness must have made me think it was a girl! :question: Title: Re: "what was that film?"
