I cannot watch this from where I am, but am guessing it is the Robot Chicken skit.  That thing is darn funny.  They also did a troubling skit with Keanu Reeves selling breakfast sausage.  During that, Shatner is waving a sausage all around and waggling his tongue at it.  Funny, but man was it ever wrong-looking.

I remember seeing the Robot Chicken bit, pretty good stuff.

I personally believe that the toupee is wearing Shatner and not the other way around anyway. It calls the shots, makes the decisions, and uses him like a puppet. Like something out of a William Burroughs novel.

Explains his acting style and his denials that he wears a rug as well. The critter doesn't consider itself a toupee, so it's telling the truth as far as it is concerned.

Just a question (and I don't deny that Mr Shatner wears a rug, btw  :tongueout:)

What was he wearing when he was underwater inStar Trek IV The Yoyage Home ?That hair looked real and you could see his scalp too. :bouncegiggle:

Shatner, like Burt Reynolds, wears very expensive toupee's. I worked with a guy once who started going bald in his early 20's who surprised me when he joined the Hair Club for Men.  They took sample of his hair and made him a toupee of natural hair that exactly matched. They wove the sides and back into his own hair and it had an adhesive strip in the front. It looked really natural and he could even wash his hair like normal or go swimming with it on. He would have to go back every six weeks and they would remove it, cut his hair and do any repairs needed.

Sean Connery is another one that wear very good "rugs".  Check him out in Never Say Never Again, he is shown swimming underwater in that one.
