Title: Canadian Fair Use Rights In Peril Post by: Andrew on January 15, 2007, 11:58:24 AM Apparently, based on a law that is in the works, sweeping changes could be made the Canadian copyright laws. I could not find the text of the proposed law(s), but the articles mention that recording a movie or show or ripping a CD (legitimately purchased) to MP3 would become infringement. If that is true, it would be likely that review websites hosted in Canada or created by Canadians would be affected as well.
