Title: WANTED: Rare Big Box VHS'!!! Post by: ZombieFU on January 19, 2007, 01:41:54 AM Hello all,
I've recently gotten into collecting those b-movie VHS' that came in giant boxes (porno tape size) from the 80's. I'm looking for pretty much anything in any quality. The quality of the tape isn't that important (I want them more for the box/box art), but being slightly watchable would be nice also. The boxes can vary in quality too. As long as it isn't completely falling apart, I am cool with any damage. When it comes to movies, I am looking more for rare/not widely known b-movie/horror films. So far some of the films I have (and the types I am looking for) are: Blood Feast The Wizard of Gore (HG Lewis) Headless Eyes Blood Frenzy The Excecutioner (AKA Like Father, Like Son & Mafia Massacre Style) ...and more. These boxes can be hard to give up, but if your looking into selling anything you might have, I'd be interested! Thanks! JP PS...I'd pay decent money for any Herschell Gordon Lewis big box tapes! Post by: Andrew on January 19, 2007, 11:54:47 AM You know, the shame is that I donated probably 10 or 15 movies with the big old boxes around August of 2006 along with other items. I would rather have traded them to another b-movie lover, of course.
If you have any video liquidator stores in your area, those can be a place to find some of these. I would also suggest to keep an eye out for independent rental stores going out of business and sometimes you see collections of movies going on Ebay for cheap too.
