Title: Zap's Avatar: What is It?
Post by: Menard on January 22, 2007, 01:13:52 PM
I have been meaning to ask this for a while now, but whenever I see Zapranoth's avatar, I can't help noticing that it sort of resembles a vagina. Just what is your avatar, Zapster?

It is the Eye of Sauron from "The Lord of the Rings."

Good grief Menard, what sort of women do you hang out with?

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say that  :bouncegiggle:  :bouncegiggle:  :bouncegiggle:

Does that mean that Sauron has vagina eyes? :teddyr:

Don't feel bad Menard...for just an instant when I first saw his avatar, I too thought it resembled a vagina.
:bouncegiggle:

Then I realized it was from Lord of the Rings.

Kind of gives new meaning to the expression 'in your eye'.

Yeh, I once hung out with some folks who did that kinda stuff. They seemed pretty surprised when I mentioned that it sounded a bit outlandish

Guys, today I was talking to the owner of the company I work at about this site, told her how much fun it is to discuss bad/good movies with friends and that this was a great place for intelligent grown ups, so she said she would give us a look, do we really have to talk about Sauron's eye resembling a vagina, I mean I have to work with her, and she signs my paycheck. :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:

When I was looking through the avatars Andrew had on here, I almost picked that one early on. Glad I didn't.

Good grief Menard, what sort of women do you hang out with?

Yeah, and any chance we could met them? Just out for curiosity's sake................or not.

So let's all give DENNIS' boss a nice friendly smile, a wave, and say "Hi! Ain't we all just so grownup around here?"

And don't forget, a wink of the eye; vagina optional. :bouncegiggle:

...this was a great place for intelligent grown ups...

Hmmm?

Let's see; we have a 50+ year old who still believes Star Trek is real, a 40 something with a squirrel fetish, a 30 something who named himself after a cat, a comic book lover who thinks anime chicks are hot, and of course me among others. I must have missed something; could you point out the grownups on this board? (http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Tongue/mockery-022.gif)

Okay, I'll admit it, this is a great site for the immature adolescent that lives in all of us, as for the rest well, I just returned from a trip around the solar system, courtesy of Captain Archer and the Enterprise, to pass the time I read comic books to a hot anime chick, said she was Sailor Moon's older sister, then we watched the cat play with the squirrels. By the way it might not be a good idea to refer to the man who plays with signs as a soldier, Marines can sometimes take exception to such remarks. :twirl:

And then there's me, named after a demon lord from a Fred Saberhagen book.

So.. Menard... you didn't *watch* the Lord of the Rings movies?

Star Trek is to real, and as soon as Mom thinks I'm old enough to get out of her basement I'll prove it!

Did someone say "GIGLI"?

J-Lo can explain why Menard had mistaken Zapranoth's avatar for something else. You should give the film more credit Menard and you won't run into these difficulties.

I never watched Gigli....  so, does J-Lo sport a flaming vagina in that one...?

I think you are confusing this with "Fantastic Four" and Jessica Alba.

Menard, the thought occurs to me that my line about soldiers and Marines taking exception was probably uncalled for, it was the best response to the sign playing I could come up with at 6:30 AM just before leaving for work. I was trying to pull your leg, I didn't intend to make you feel bad, so if thats what I did I want to apologise to you.

Nah, but Scott has a script. :teddyr:

Youuuu bettah watch it, Menard.

We've all of us here watched A Clockwork Orange.

You might find yourself in Scott's house one unwary day, strapped to a couch, with Scott leaning over you with the eyedrops... and J-Lo smiling on a movie screen before your terrified, unblinking gaze.

FYI, Gigli viewings are -5d20 SAN points.   Worse than looking on the face of Great Cthulhu himself, ya know.

Not a fetish then, an obsession. A fixation maybe.

odinn7- He's like Captain Ahab and Charles Bronson but with squirrels rather than a whale or street trash punks.

Came back to fix coding.
